I am fortunate in that I have discovered something that I am passionate about. And the nature of photography allows me to share that passion with others. Sharing my personal vacation photos allows me to bring my travels home to those who are unable to make the trips. It helps convey my sense of adventure when someone expresses an appreciation or says "that looks like a postcard!" about one of my landscapes. Stories of my travels are brought to life when I can show someone exactly how the morning light reflected off a mountain at Zion National Park or the excitement of Las Vegas. I enjoy making a stop at an airshow part of my vacation plans, and love the thrill of photographing a jet going 500 mph, challenging myself to get that perfect shot.
Though I love to travel, I also love my hometown of Pittsburgh and am constantly looking for ways to showcase its beauty. Many are the times when I am a tourist right here in my hometown.
I am also involved in photographing local youth hockey and soccer teams. I enjoy working with kids as they tend to be natural, and I like to catch them as they are; letting their individual personalities show in their photographs. I use the same approach in photographing portraits and weddings. My goal is to always let my subject's personality come through.

You and Michelle are an amazing team... when I passed your cards out after the reception I needed alot more... have promised the e mail the web site to those who did not get cards... feedback on you was incredible... remarks like you were all over but never just flashing blubs in front of people, plus they were amazed at the sheer number of pics you took... everyone is excited to see the pictures as they know they will be in a lot of them... thank you both for such a well done job... Mr. McCrea- I have visited Pittsburgh several times but never saw better photos than I have seen here- you should publish a "coffee table" book of your photos.. I plan to buy several, as Pittsburgh is one of my favorite places to visit! Bravo to you; you are truly an artist!
